Xtreme Venture III
S.I.T. Club have organised for the third time, Xtreme Venture.
Event Date: 23rd May 2007
Time: 3pm
Venue: NYP
Xtreme Venture III being the first event for School of Information Technology Year One students is to create bonding among students within their own class. In this one day event, we hope to encourage students to excel in teamwork. The students will take part in different games stations and complete the games to their very best. These games will enhance the participants in both their mental and physical skills. It is important for them to have fun and enjoy themselves throughout the event. Furthermore, the participants will have opportunities to make friends from other classes and practice sportsmanship.

I have learnt so much things inside this event, like time management of coping with both my studies and event planning plus my networking with other people around me which needed me to communicate with the people in joining and participating the event. With the help of everyone, inclusive of the OGLs who help us in excuting the games, Excos who guide us through the ups and downs during the event planning and of course the participants who fork out their precious time in joining the game, this event would not be a success without you all. This event really motivates me to all the things I have done and really getting me anticipates for the next one ahead.

Eh. I just want to say: well done guys! i lOve u all. u all are the best even thought Planning stage was so diffcult. we work together, play together, plan together, eat together, sad together, laugh together; through thick and thin. But we all manage to pull it throught. Thanks guys, u all teach me how to have fun while learning something that i never learn before. this event would always be remembered by me and i believed everyone who participate in Xtreme Venture III would also remember this fun-filling event.

Finally, Xtreme Venture III comes to a closure!! At last, we, committee can take a break after weeks of rushing to plan and prepare the events. Being part of Xtreme Venture III抯 committee allows me to learn a lot of things, such as the importance of time management and team works, commitment and taking the initiative. I would like to thank all the people who cracked their brain to help me think of the games!! And also to the station masters, participates and all the Committee Members!! Thank You!! It抯 a pleasure to see everyone enjoyed themselves during the event!! Lastly I would like to express thanks to the seniors for the understandings, advices and encouragements you guys gave!! Firstly, i would like to thank all the seniors for their help and assist our committee. i am really honored and very grateful to be one of the Xtreme Venture III committee. It was an unforgettable event that would always be with me and even thought during the planning stage it was tough, we manage to do it!. We, committee managed to go through it together. We're always be a one big united family. Lastly, i hope that there will be more chances that we can work together as a team as every event would be a new interesting experience for each and everyone of us to experience and venture it together. Xtreme Venture III has given me good memories. How good you may ask, seeing friends gathering around preparing for the actual day, put in their 100% efforts in trial runs and meetings. All these while seeing their hardwork being paid off its so wonderful. Its so memorable! Whats more, seeing participants with a smile playing the games that we planned and integrated really makes us all feels worthwhile for what we have done for the past months. Thank you committee! Thank you participants! Without you guys, there wont be Xtreme Venture III!

I enjoyed being a station masters for Xtreme Venture III, even though we had difficulties and faced scolding during the trial runs. From there, we learned to give proper instructions and carry out the duties accordingly. The great acHievement is when we see the participants enjoying the games lots. I feel that after so much of preparations, it all worthwhile. Really enjoyed being able to assist Xtreme Venture Team in execution of games to everyone who participate in this event. With all these experiences I have learnt new skills which enable mi to apply them in my daily life.

Xtreme Venture III is so so good eh. In terms of management, instruction pass down to each and everyone is clear and not much doubts are there. Even though sometimes, there's a little bit of time wasted here and there - like waiting for our station items but everything went on smoothly. Seeing participants playing the games with smiles on their faces really brighten my days even though both stations I have to stuck with water. All these really makes my day worthwhile.

Xtreme Venture III is fun and enjoyable in preparation and execution of the games that we have been given In addition, it also helps to enhance our knowledge of the campus by knowing where our and other OGLs' stations location or even some places that we do not even know that it exists. We also learnt how to handle different scenarios that we facing, including sudden ones like a miscommunication of clue cards in the beginning. I believed that we became stronger as a whole after the event.

The games are so enjoyable. This event really let me and my friends to bond together and cooperate together as a team. Xtreme Venture III emphasised on teamworking and teambonding spirit that we can feel from the OGLs themselves. Games introduced are fun,in which some are pretty to pass like the balloon passing game and others like the mountain game. Really glad to be able to participate in this fun-filling event.

Xtreme Venture III is fun. I really enjoyed it. It helps mi to strengthen my bonds among my team through working together as a team as teamwork was the important factor in most of the game stations. The overall implementation of the games is all right. Plus the mountain peak that round is so fun. different stations need different coordination and teamwork from one another. drinking of water within that station enable us to have a break and plan our future stategies to win the game. All these games worthwile for my participation!

It was tiring. But i must say, i enjoyed working with this batch of committees.
I could see everyone putting in their effort to make this event a success. And i will can still remember asking the juniors: "Are you all really serious about this event?" Well, the results has shown. And i know sometimes we seniors push them way too high above our expectations. Frankly speaking, i was dissappointed at times. Nonetheless, they did a good job.
Though there's mistakes here and there, i belived the committee has left something with them through the mistakes they made.
And i hope they learnt something new through this event.

Seeing a group of people coming together and work towards their common goal is something I’m proud of the XV committee. I believe during the planning stage of XV, there were misunderstandings and miscommunications. But it’s all those that made them grow and realized the importance of teamwork.
