it is glad to see it's a success, just by seeing the looks and the smiles on the face of the participants. everything turn out so well that it is simply worth all the hard work in the end.
what makes it greater, is that the smiles from not just the participants, but the smiles from the committee and, not forgetting the helpers.

the event was on par as the real club. every of the single participants enjoyed themselves and forgetting that they were in a room in sch. I would say that it still turn out great in every single aspect, considering all of us are amateurs in such events.

not forgetting those who have offered their hands in times of need. and those in the committee as well. thank you for all the hard work and help that you have offered. and it's been an honoured to work with every single one of you. all of you did great. well done.

may we see each other again in the near future.

I could vividly remember the planning stage and the time we been together to settle the proposal. It was a very tedious job. However, we reap benefits from our hardwork. Phat Nite V was a success. The crowd was just nice and the Deejays and Emcees were great! The quality of the sound and light system was terrific and we were able to mimic the professional club atmosphere. Special thanks to the helpers and my committee member. Without u guys Phat Nite V would not be successful as it could be!

Before i join Phat Nite this event as a helper, i always think, will this event be fun? What will be my impression for this event. But after the event today, i totally felt different, i felt that in school, we can have "clubbing" event too and i can see alot of students from the different schools
taking part in it. Firstly, i want to thank the Phat Nite committee for organising this event well, if without them, there would not be any helpers like me in the event. Everyone know their role well and did their job with no complains. Secondly, it will be the emcees, they are well organised and are able to catch the crowd attention. Lastly, would be on the participants, without them, will the event goes smoothly? NO! But when we can see the participants having fun at the dance floor, their smile prove that the effort from the committee and helpers are not wasted. Thumbs Up guys! You all did well. Indeed, it is a very good experience for me and i am
sure that i will join Phat Nite 6 next year! KAMBATEI!

I am proud to say that PHAT NITE V was the best of all phat nite events from the previous years I was a part of making it possible.

Though there was a lot of things not perfectly done, many mistakes and many things left undone. The event still put through and was a complete success! seeing people enjoying themselves was the best moment ever especially seeing the seniors enjoying themselves shows that all the effort the whole committee and helpers had put in into this event paid off well =)

The atmosphere was totally great and definitely unforgettable. I therefore dare to say that this event made an impact in NYP and we will definitely see people coming back next year and asking for more of this!

For the pub team, even though there was like 5 of us left, and me being the only guy in the group. We put through. And of course we couldn't have done it without senior jewelry backing us up with lots of help and guidance.

Finally, I would like to thank everyone who helped out at the event and making it a successful one to be remembered by many =)

the PHAT NITE V was a success!! i believe that if we can have more trial runs the whole event will even be much more better than just a success! and yes, being able to run it smoothly partly was due to the helpers we have who really did a great job. without them, we couldnt have done it. and on top of that, i am really happy to be able to work in this committee and the two ICs, raymond and cuihui. thus, despite the sudden situations we have during the event itself, still we are able to cope and handle them.

other then that, having seen how the participants enjoyed the event is another thumbs up for it.

and lastly really thanks for every helper who render us their help. it goes a long way.

When i first know that i am inside of Phat Nite, i am not sure what it is. And when i get to know that it is clubbing, i am shocked, cause i do not like clubbing. But after all those i have done and seeing the actual event where everyone who comes to the event enjoys it, i feel happy. This event i can say is a success although we are all rushing at the last day but when everyone is happy dancing and enjoying the event, our efforts are not in vain. It is a good experience to be in Phat Nite and get to know more about what clubbing is.

The journey to Phat Nite V isn't easy. Though the journey is long, we have managed to go through it together as ONE Phat Nite V committee despite all the hiccups faced. I'm really glad to be in F&B department. In F&B dept, I really learnt a lot and I'm thankful to have Senior Priscilla, who is always there guiding me. Of course not forgetting, my supportive and contributive department mates. Regardless of all the tough and stressful times, they stood by me without fail. A big Thank You to my whole F&B department, especially Senior Priscilla! =) The whole event has come to an end and I'm glad that it was a great success. Cheers to Phat Nite V committee and helpers who made this event wonderful! =)

I can say, Phat Nite V was simply a bang! I believe that everyone in the committee had done a great job in putting so much to make it a successful event. The committee had put on their best shot despite the stress of projects deadlines and tests. I can see that most of the people are having fun. Although there are some hiccups during the process of the event, it is still consider quite successful. Hopefully they will always remember the experience and skills they had gain from the process. Well...This event is quite success thought they are some pops out. I enjoyed a lot. When I see them preparing the event, it really reminds me last year as a logistic member. It reminds me the hard times when we are preparing for it. rite Moppies? Especially on the event day, we are having a lot of funs. As a phatNite Logistic Senior i am grad that they have learn the precious knowledge thought out the journey. It wasn’t easy to be a logistic in this event. I believe with this experienced they could made a more successful PhatNite six next year. Work Hard Guys!!!

BandzOut 2008/09



BandzOut 2008/09 is not just a friendly competition between aspiring musicians but also a way to bring people together. The event will attract youths from different backgrounds allowing them to interact with each other thus increasing their social circle. Not only will they meet new faces but they will also be exposed to different genres of music. The participants will realize their potential and talent which in turn would encourage them to further pursue their musical career.

BandzOut 08/09 was an interesting event that i help out on. I have see that on the Crowd control side. I saw that we should be alert at all times. As a helper, i noticed that i am not sure how to differential who is the audience and who is the VIPs. I see that the Overall the crowd control is fine as we have been able to control the crowd properly and the seats are occupied to the full house.

BandzOut 08/09 had been a long journey, since the planning stage all the way until the actual event. I've seen the proposal from nothing to something, I've seen the Logistic Room from having no BandzOut Items at all, to half of it being filled up with nothing but BandzOut items. Some of us have burnt our weekends painting props, and burnt another weekend doing the backdrop. It's been an incredible journey, and our efforts have paid off.

The main event itself went quite smoothly, there were no major mistakes, and our turn-up was extremely great. We had a full-house for quite a while, and even when the event dragged until late at night, there were still lots of audience at the amphitheater.

I've learned a lot from this event and met many new friends.

BandzOut 08/09 is a success, and I hope that next year's BandzOut will do even better! (:

BandzOuT 2008/09 ended, but the memories shall stay with me.

Though a lot of things will done last minute, I’m still glad that everything lasted throughout the whole event. The response from the audience is great too when I doing my duties at the staircase two. They will enthusiastic and shouting their friends name bringing up the atmosphere in the amphitheatre. I feel that everything is great, the backdrop, the MCs, the everything. At least, i see effort in all of us. How we crack our brain to think of how to put up the backdrop and the banner. The teamwork is there when we work together. Our welfare is also well taken of. Feeling great to be able to work with the BandzOut committee and be involved in this event totally. I also like to thanks the Guest bands for coming to bring up the event to the peak. YOU GUYS ROCK THE STAGE! Lastly, special thanks to Senior Charlene who guides us well, you are a good advisor. We are the ones who not doing well, sorry to disappoint you. Thanks all the seniors and everyone who helped that makes this event successful.

BandzOut 2008/09 Rocked NYP!!
Being the Crowd Control IC was really fun. I had many thing duties and responsibilities. I could not have completed them without my Crowd Control Department. So a special thanks to them.
I would like to thank and apologise for all the good, the very good and the bad. BandzOut 2008/09 is a success in my eyes and the eyes of all BO people. The committee did their best for this event. I appreciate all those who helped out for this event too. We have more helpers than expected, sorry for those who don't have duties or can't help. Anyway, I'm sure everyone had fun and enjoyed the performances. The participants were alright; the guest performances were Da Bomb. Those who left early missed out big time. I’m sure everyone learnt a thing or two from this event. We had minor setbacks and certain problems during the event and stuff like that, but we overcame it and walked with our head up high. I think I better end my post, if not it will become an essay..haha

So to summarized it all,

It Was All Worth It and Will Do It All Over Again.

BandzOut 08/09! It was a rather successful one for me! Apart from some hiccups in the programme, but overall it was good!
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the publication seniors and my members for being very supportive for me.
Though we didn't really produce very satisfying work, but i'm sure most of my members have put in their 101% effort.
Through this BandzOut planning journey, i've learnt and gain lots of experience.
Photoshop has always been a choreful tool to use but i'm enjoying it whenever i'm able to discover new tools to make my designs more WOW.
Because ultimately, i have passion for designing!

Basically i think that all of us learn the same lesson, which is to plan earlier. Nonetheless, the event still pull through with the help of everyone. It was a valuable experience for all of us, as we do things together, though not so united, but still, there were times we worked together closely to get things done. BandzOut 08/09 was a rather fun event as we were able to bond together more to help each other. It not only taught us more on planning stuffs but also give ourselves the chance to unleash our potential in handling of events. Overall, BandzOut 08/09 was a great success!

It was a successful and enjoyable event afterall. However there is still some improvement that can be improve on, but nothing is perfect. The goods cover the bads. Needless to say, i shall thanks BandzOut committee for making this event a success! BandzOut 2008/09 rocks!

Tan Ze Rong (DBI), Crowd Control Helper

Going through the whole process, i can still remember the days of proposal, weekly meetings, painting of props, auditions, final preparation, plenty of last minute changes and the event it self. No doubt it has been time consuming, but i believe everyone has picked up something from all these. What ever it may be, i sure do hope it'll help them in the future. Being an I/C was a different experience as compared to my role in FMO, but i think working with Shu Fei was much fun. Having the welfare of your committee in mind is vital, as stress can increase or decrease performance. An unhappy committee would not be able to churn out awesome results. I also would like to say that the backdrop was put up in a tiring but satisfying way, with many thanks to Senior Daniel for his suggestion. I would like to face up to the fact that there were many errors and problems with the event, but the main objective of the event is to bring people together, appreciating the music talent we have in our school, and of course for the music. And i truly believe that these were met. It was heart warming to see the WHOLE amphitheatre FULL of people till the point that we had to close admission. MANY THANKS TO MY COMMITTEE, who relentlessly put in alot of effort, last minute it may be, it all paid off! Seniors, thank you for the patience, guidance, and humour. The event would definitely would not have happened if not for you guys, though i will stress again that i did not like the way it ended at ALL during the debrief. So as cliche as it might sound, BandzOut 2008/09 was a success, since Senior Guang Yun mentioned to me, 'an event cannot fail since there are people attending it', and hell yeah to that! (:

Finally BandzOut has come to an end. After the many obstacles the BandzOut committee faced, they managed to pull off the event quite well. In fact, it was FULL HOUSE on the event day. Good job! From an audience point of view, I did enjoy the event, especially by Suicide Solutions. They were awesome! Firebrands were of course great too, so were the participants. BandzOut committee 2008/09, I hope you guys have learnt some important skills and lessons throughout this entire event process. Remember them and use them wisely. These experiences and memories will last you a lifetime. I’d expect a better show next year ok?! Oh and next time, well, if there is a next time, I hope you guys will take our advice more seriously. But anyway, ROCK ON BANDZOUT COMMITTEE 2008/09! All the best for the future. Cheers!

As a senior or overall advisor, i can see that you all really strive your best in making this event successful. From the proposal stage onwards, i can see you guys put in a lot of effort to really plan the event in detail. All of you overcome the challenges, sacrifice your time and put in all your effort for this event. And when the main day arrives, i can say almost everything when on smoothly. There might be mistakes done but put everything aside. It's very minor, but overall event was a success! And I am very happy to you all cos an event which is open to the school and public is a very challenging task but you all manage to overcome that, go on boldly with the event and make decisions wisely.
