Fireworks
Two days before the exams, some of our excos and friends met up to watch fireworks and marina south. Met up at 6 at city hall. Some of us already reached marine square and were having their dinner. So Zaty, Yit Jing, Cheryl, AO and i went to buy subway and head towards esplanade. Alvin lee caught up with us before we head off as he was late. Reached the spot at 7.15 and Zaty including AO start to take lots of pics. At 8pm, Kamal, Mervyn, Yew King, Eileen Neo, Nicky and Kenny meet up with us. Nicky waited till so bored that he even wanted to do a video. Our long wait ended at 9.15 when kites started to appear in the sky. The kites was flying in the sky for so long until Mervyn made a comment : "Oh Boy! Kites!" in the voice of Mickey Mouse. After 5 mins or so, FIREWORKS!! Here are some preview :
After the fireworks, May and Eileen Shui met up with us and we took a grp photo.
After that May went off while the rest of us decide on where to go. Decided on a roti prata shop near orchard and who going with who. Ended up is Alvin Lee, Kamal, Kenny and Yit Jing go by taxi, while Yew King, Cheryl and AO follows Eileen Shui' car and Nicky, Eileen Neo and me follow Mervyn's car. Before we separate, we took one last grp photo.
From this pic, we can clearly say that Alvin Lee is not good at taking photos. Even though its blur, he do not even know that his finger is actually blocking the lenes until i told him.
1030pm we reach the carpark at Suntec and wanted to exit it. Waited for an hour before its finally our turn to exit the place. We got so bored that we took pics of cars going the other direction.
The sign over at the corner clearly state "ONE WAY"
Halfway during our wait, Alvin Lee called us and told us that we have to wait for one and a half hours before our prata could be served to us. That is LONG. Ending we headed towards Chomp Chomp while Kamal, Alvin Lee, Kenny and Yit Jing head home.
Reached Chomp Chomp at 12am, on the way, Eileen Neo dropped off to meet her dad. Flaged a cab for Zaty as she have to went off. Once we settle down, Alvin Lee called and said that they are coming to meet us. A minute later, he called again and said they not coming. Had our food and chat abt cars after that home sweet home.
That's it for pre-exams happiness. All the best to everyone in their exams.
P.S : i think Alvin Lee going to screw me for putting that statement. lol..

PHAT NITE IV

Phat Nite IV is an event whereby students of NYP could let down their hair and enjoy themselves.
There will be a performance showcased by the Foreign Bodies and an exclusive rap show.

Phat Nite was indeed a success though there were few errors here and there. Seeing the students and even the seniors enjoying themselves tells me that we have already succeeded in our main objective of this event. I've learned a lot thru this preparation and with the help of Jeffrey and the Event advisors, we MOP-ies, manage to pull this event off. I can see that the committee really put in a lot of effort in making this event a successful one. Despite the stress of their projects, they still make time for the event. Therefore I’m really proud of them. Thank you to all who have helped in this event, And a BIG thanks to the Event Advisors for guiding us! You guys ROCKS and WE MOP-ies LOVE YOU! =)

Phat Nite was great and I saw a lot of student enjoying themselves including our seniors. Planning an event is not easy as there are many things to do. I did learn a lot and I get to see each and everyone in the committee working so hard for it. Thank You guys who have help out in Phat Nite to make this event a success! PHAT NITE IV ROCKS. Even though the genre of the songs played in the starting is a little off-track, but the atmosphere is there! And and it's my first time doing designs for the event. A very nice experience because it feels really good when you see your "master piece" on the actual day and your shirt being worn around. hahaha! :x
ICs were great! Seniors were great! Everyone rocks!

In the starting, the mood wasn’t there yet. So being the Event Area CC IC, I try to get my crew to bring the partying spirit in and after a while, the party officially begins. Though there are a few problems here and there, overall I think we managed it well. Needless to say, the event was great. I’m also really grateful to all my crowd control crew for their help in this event. Thank You =)

Greetings! Firstly i would like to thank the committee for giving us the chance and inviting us to this memorable event. It's nice to be around the SIT family again after graduating a few months back. It's my second time around going to Phat Nite (and hopefully not my last!) and i can say, Phat Nite IV was a blast! It's a nite where people let loose and groove to the music with their friends, and in fact meet new people along the way. Despite being sick, i had a wonderful time. Music was good, but it could be better. Smoke machine, very smoky. Food, more food please!!
I believe that everyone in the committee had done a great job in putting so much vibe to this successful event. I can see that most of the people are having fun. Nevertheless, there's always room for improvement in the near future. Remember, there's no failure, only learning experiences. All the best to everyone yea!
And oh, I LOVE SIT CLUB much much!

The objective of Phat Nite was to let lose and move freely to the music and I think, this committee has succeed in fulfilling it. The decorations were nice and I simply love the lighting and the background. I can safely say the ICs (Jeff and Nana) handled the event quite nicely despite having small glitches here and there. I love this committee very much because they put their heart and soul to this event. Not forgetting without the Event Advisors guiding them through. You've all done well!
