Event Date: 13 July 5.30pm at Amphitheatre
BandzOut 2007/08 is not just a friendly competition between aspiring musicians but also a way to bring people together. The event will attract youths from different backgrounds allowing them to interact with each other thus increasing their social circle. Not only will they meet new faces but they will also be exposed to different genres of music. The participants will realize their potential and talent which in turn would encourage them to further pursue their musical career.
So Come down to the booth for more details. You can invite your friends of anywhere down to support u and ur band! yes and i mean people outside NYP!

It was my first time organizing this kind of activities although it was challenging but we make it thru. It was a full 3months of intensive planning and making of the props needed.
I have learn some life skills and made some friends along the way. Being the IC there is a lot of thing we see it but others don’t. Hope all this life skills will be useful in future!

The event overall is enjoyable however there is some improvement that can be done. Because I am a helper in the bandzout standing in the “frontline”. The music from the bands is unbearable. So I wished something can be done. Overall is quite enjoyable.
The things went quite smoothly and the audience is quite cooperative during the event.

Skip the planning stage. Though before event there’s quite a lot of wrongs and “should haves”, the BandzOut committee managed to pull it off quite well. :) It’s definitely an enjoyable event from the perspective of an audience. (sweat at backstage for that “super-stable-backdrop”! haha) Oh, I like the designs much, well done publications! Not forgetting Crowd control; should be the department with most job scopes. Hope whatever is taught to the committee will be put to good use! Don’t forget whatever you guys have learnt, when you guys become seniors, it’ll be handy. BandzOut committee, don’t lose contacts alrights? Friends don’t meet by chance.

VoiceOut 2007 is held on 6th June, Wednesday.
This is a singing competition and come on down to this event.
There are 10 Solo 5 groups contestants.

Another series of fun and experiences- We manage to pull it off, and not to forget, we just produced another group of SUPERSTARS in SIT! We managed to put up a platform for them to outshine others. I'm really proud of the contestants. They have burning passion and potential in them. After getting its way through auditions, they've made it to the finals! They've had excellent audience! And they've put up a good show! Despite some hiccups and humps along the way, we, the successors of VoiceOut 2007/08, managed to do it as one and end it good. We are proud to present, and we are proud to bring home, yet, another useful experience for ourselves.

There is great teamwork and commitment despite academic stress and other commitments, everyone is able to part their own part to make voiceout a success.
From this event, i can see that all committee members is committed and are able to help one another, despite some setbacks, the committee members have proven teamwork has the ability to overcome any obstancle and stand out as one team, not 36 individuals.

through voiceout, i experience frustration, anger and joy. i am grateful that the commitee managed to pull through and make the event such a success! i learned that one must perserve to enjoy the fruits of labour. the most important part that matters is your perceptions. if you feel is good, it would be good. else its bad. overall, i enjoyed being part of the event and would miss voiceout! N i will be back
